Crafted from innovative materials, this super lightweight speed boot is part of a broader initiative to revolutionize football. As one of the lightest and most affordable premium speed boots on the market, it’s made from sustainable materials like corn waste, wood fibers, sugarcane, bamboo, castor beans, and recycled polyester from plastic bottles.
The Scudetta features a Bio-Touch vamp that molds to the foot, with a knit collar for a snug fit around the ankle. The non-stretch midfoot provides lockdown during quick cuts, while the aggressive outsole enhances push-off and traction. A suede-like lining and tongue offer a soft, comfortable feel. The soleplate consists of 89% renewable carbon from castor beans, and the insole is made from 64% sugarcane. A slight 3D effect on the vamp maintains the boot's lightweight profile while improving grip and touch on the ball.
The graphics on the insole, vamp, and outsole are inspired by topography, mimicking the contours of a landscape. The laces are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and the packaging is a blend of 50% sugarcane and 50% wood. This high-performance boot is designed to change the game, both on and off the pitch.
The brand 'Sokito'
Sokito was founded by Jake, a lifelong football lover whose dreams of going pro were cut short by a knee injury. On a holiday in Hoi An, Vietnam, Jake was inspired by the craftsmanship of handmade leather brogues and wondered why the same attention to detail couldn't be applied to football boots. After returning to Vietnam twice more to explore this idea, he left his job and started Sokito.
