adidas launch complete 'Blue Blast' collection | New boots for the stars
Last week we introduced the brand new adidas ACE 17+ PureControl in a Blue Blast colourway, and now the blue hue takes over adidas’ remaining silos; X, Copa and Messi. Coming soon to the feet of a superstar near you.
Things are already looking like 2017 is going to be one of the big years, when it comes to new boots and colourways. We have already seen adidas flex their creative muscles, when they launched the ultra-popular Chequered Black collection. However, as the sharpest of you boot spotters out there probably noticed those boots didn’t get any on-pitch support from adidas’ athletes. These new adidas Blue Blast boots certainly will and you can look forward to seeing stars like Özil, Messi and Bale racking up their assist and goal tallies in these stunners.
Every one of adidas’ silos has with this launch been made ready to welcome the spring, and it’s hard not to get a little excited. While the aforementioned Chequered Black boots linked up well with the mood of the darker winter months, the days are noticeably getting longer and brighter now, so colourways to match seems only right. All clear blue skies from here lads!
Continued below.
The adidas X is designed for the attacking player that creates and thrives in chaos on the pitch. Don’t let the fresh and almost lighthearted colourway fool you, the adidas X 16+ PureChaos is still just as lethal; it’s just up to you to prove it. First does truly never follow - so why not beat Suarez and Benzema to wearing the boots and showing them how it’s done?
Lionel Messi is never a player you can leave out of your lineup, whether it be on the pitch or when adidas design new boots. We will from now on see the Argentinian wizard nutmegging helpless defenders in his signature Messi 16+ PureAgility football boots. We can already now imagine how well this Blue Blast iteration looks together with FC Barcelona’s home-shirt and third-shirt, as well as the Argentina home strip for that matter. Coincidence? I think not.
Completing the pack is the undeniable COPA, which was remixed for the modern game in November 2016. This new interpretation of adidas’ most legendary boot, Copa Mundial, has already made its impression felt and this latest update will definitely replicate that success. I mean, honestly; how elegant can a football boot actually look? If there ever was a limit, then it has been absolutely annihilated by this new Copa addition. We will just let the pictures do the talking from here. Enjoy.
