Right to Dream Academy
The Right to Dream Academy in Ghana forges some of the finest young football players in West Africa, and in collaboration with FC Nordsjælland they're shaping the lives of a lot of young boys and girls, where they're being helped to find their purpose in life. It's not all about being a fantastic football player - academy graduates at the Right to Dream Academy are also expected to be good human beings, by learning to give back to their community and finding their purpose in life. And coming from poor families and from playing in the back streets of Accra, the capital in Ghana and finally getting the chance to play at the Right to Dream Academy is a dream coming true for many of the players.

In episode 1 we follow the lives of Eric Oteng, Kamal Deen Sulemana and Mohammed Diomande who are some of the brightest talents at the Right to Dream Academy. Here, you will learn what it's like to go from living in poverty and playing football on the street, to actually having a chance of becoming a professional football player through the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana. Episode 2: THE FIRST STEPS OF BECOMING A PRO
The 3 boys have now all moved to Denmark and have signed their first pro contract. The Right to Dream Academy, which works together with the Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland, is the birthplace of many young, huge football talents, and in today's football documentary part 2 you will follow the lives of Eric Oteng, Kamal Deen Sulemana and Mohammed Diomande who are some of the brightest talents at the Right to Dream Academy. In the third episode of the Right To Dream documentary series, we follow scouts from the Right To Dream Academy in their search for next generations academy stars. Over a period of 20 years, Right to Dream has built a regional network of over 1300 grassroots clubs in West Africa, which serves as their scouting platform every year. Through the eyes of scouts Jeremy Seethal and Derek Boateng, we’ll take you through Right to Dream’s deep scouting process and give you an insider's view on how they identify strong characters with exceptional academic and footballing ability, in one of the harshest and most exciting scouting environments in the world.
