Unisport WebTV: Review of the Nike Tiempo Legend V

Some say that if you wait long enough, good will come to you. This has also been the case with the new Nike Tiempo Legend V football boot, which was launched on the 12th of December last year. After two and a half years of work, Nike finally launched the fifth version of the popular Tiempo Legend football boot.
Jakob has also taken in the new Nike Tiempo Legend V football boot. After some weeks of testing, it's now time for the verdict.
Actually you don't need to get very far into the video to find out how Jakob feels about the Nike Tiempo Legend V football boot. He is quite into it, and enjoys how it lives up to what is promised: great comfort and no-nonsense.

Comfort is once again a key point on the new Nike Tiempo Legend V football boot. The fore foot is made of an incredibly soft and supple piece of kangaroo leather. This provides an eminent touch on the ball and a just as excellent fit in the boot. The rear part of the heel is made of Nike's leather-emulating KangaLite material to further improve stability and durability.

With the new Nike Tiempo Legend V, Nike have worked intensively and focused on uniting a fantastic touch on the ball and a consistent weight. Leather boots are known to get heavy as they take up water, but Nike have put a lot of work into avoiding this.

In order to avoid water uptake, Nike have added their advanced Hypershield technology to the new Nike Tiempo Legend V. Hypershield is developed to reject water, and hereby not let the leather take up water; and with this addition, Nike have managed to create a leather boot that has advantages, which are normally only found with synthetic boots.
