Classic Uhlsport goalkeepers gloves in a nice retro look. The gloves were made famous by the legendary Paraguayan goalkeeper and dead ball specialist José Luis Chilavert. Chilavert was an incredibly charismatic and eccentric goalkeeper. His at times unorthodox attitude even landed him the nickname 'El Buldog'. On top of his impeccable goalkeeping Chilavert was a notoriously deadly penalty and freekick taker. Throughout his long career he managed to score an impressive 67 goals, 8 of them for his national side. This makes him the second most scoring goalkeeper ever. The gloves palm is equipped with Uhlsport's exclusive Supersoft PLUS latex. This is a soft and comfortable latex, which gives you the best grip in all weather conditions. The gloves 'body' and backhand are made from a lightweight PU-material, which is even water proof. Its backhand is also equipped with a protecting pillow material, which keeps your hand safe, when you need to box the ball out of the area. With a Rollfinger cut, that provides a snug fit and a sublime ball grip. The Rollfinger cut has a seamless design to give you a larger latex area. The result is a better latex-to-ball contact, due to the enlarged latex area. Furthermore the gloves have a Negative Cut on the thumb, which both protects the exposed area for a better fit. With full closure all around your wrist. This is adjustable to give you the perfect and personal fit. Moreover it has Chilaverts signature on there too.
