88 Pro Grip is a name that many goalkeepers will remember fondly. For many years Selects 88 glove has been the preferred choice of glove among many top keepers and this is not about to change with the introduction of the new Select 88 Pro Grip. The glove is made from the best materials and it is very apparent that there have been made no compromises during the construction of this glove. The glove is made with Select's 3mm thick Soft Contact Latex, which gives you the best possible grip in all condition. The backhand is made with a 3mm thick Deep Embossed Soft Latex, which means you get a soft and supple glove, as well as excellent protection. The Select 88 is for the first time made with a negative cut - instead of the traditional flat palm cut, which has otherwise been synonymous with for so many years. The negative cut gives tighter fit around the fingers, as well as giving you better latex-to-ball contact. Negative cut means the stitching is on the inside of the glove. This gives a larger amount of latex facing outwards. On top of the the latex material the backhand is made with a comfortable neoprene material. This is especially visible around the wrist and between the index finger and thumb. This ensures optimal flexibility for the hand, as well as the breathability. Furthermore there is flex control around the thumb. Flexibility for the thumb is incredibly important, as the thumb help give control and stabilise the ball when you catch it and restart the game quickly. You also get a glove with Selects newly developed Anatomical Fit System. This system means that the glove is anatomically correct and follows your hands natural curvature, already before you put your hands in the. 88 Pro Grip is made with a classic close made from a comfortable neoprene bandage. Furthermore it has the Opti Wrist-Support at the wrist, so you get maximal protection for an otherwise vulnerable area. It also has a pull strap, so it is easy to get off and on.
