Select 88 Kids draws on the design and shape of the Select top model. The palm is made with a 3 mm thick Ultra Pro Latex. This latex delivers a sublime grip in all weather conditions, and ensures that you will always experience optimal ball control. The glove is made with a Flat Palm cut, which is a classic cut with outer stitching. This cut was the first ever used for goalkeeper gloves, and is still the most widely used today. The Flat Palm cut provides a traditional fit, as well as an optimal latex-to-ball contact. In addition, the sides of the fingers is made with a mesh material to increase breathability. The mesh material found on the sides of the fingers is also used around the wrist, as well as between the index- and thumb. This further adds to the breath ability and comfort, as a badly ventilated glove will always feel uncomfortable. Furthermore, it includes flex control around the thumb. Flexibility around the thumb is exceptionally important for a goalkeeper, as the thumb is crucial in terms of getting control of the ball, both when you catch or throw the ball back into play. You you also get a glove with Select's newly developed Anatomical Fit System, which gives maximal comfort and fit. The 88 Pro Grip Kids is made with a classic closure with elastic bandage and half latex strap. Moreover, it includes Opti Wrist-Support around the wrist to give you optimal protection for this vulnerable area.
