As a goalkeeper you are often the difference that makes or breaks victory and glory. You have to stay on your toes and be fully focused for the full 90 minutes, so you are always ready to spring to your teams rescue. With the new ACE gloves you are sure that your gear will be in check, when your saves are all that stands between victory or defeat! • New glove silo from adidas • Negative cut • Tight Fit Good grip for optimal ball control The glove is made with the adidas "Seamless touch" cut, which is a negative cut that helps give a tighter fit. With a negative cut the stitches sit on the inside, which gives a larger latex surface, so it's easier for you to control the ball. The palm is built up around a 3,5mm thick Nova latex, which is extremely grippy and makes sure there is increased friction between the ball and glove. This helps give improved grip on the ball, so you can control it in all weather conditions. Under the surface you find a 4 mm thick foam, which offers good padding and shock-absorbency, so you are protected when saving hard strikes from the opponent. The Latex is also wrapped around the thumb, so you get better stability and it's easier to catch the ball. Maximal power and a fit The gloves backhand is made with full latex, which provides a tight fit and better protection. Furthermore there is a "Punch Zone", which is a series of identical zones on the backhand that gives increased power and precision, when you look to box the ball out of the area. In addition the glove opening is made with a tight elasticated bandage. In addition, it has a side opening, allowing you to easily take the gloves on and off. Moreover, the glove can be adjusted via an EVA strap strap to give you a personal fit.
