Nike Free OG 2014 is the shoe in Free-collection that gives the best feeling of bare foot running. The high-quality ventilation and comfort makes the shoe perfect for both everyday use and running. The shoe is made of lightweight textile materials and a synthetic leather upper, which is as light as possible, to provide as high levels of comfort as possible. In order to reduce the pressure on the ankle and top of the foot, the shoe is designed with an asymmetrical lacing. The Nike Free Concept originates in Stanford, where Nike looked into the training methods of the very successful athletes there and found out they trained barefoot. 3 of Nike's most esteemed and creative innovators went to work on this basis and in 2002 they began work on the first Nike Free by mapping the foots biomechanics.
