The Nike Free Hypervenom is the ultimate combination of football and fashion. The shoe combines the upper from the Nike Hypervenom football boot with the classic Nike Free sole. The upper is made of the same NikeSKIN as we see on the Hypervenom Phantom football boot. The three separate layers, which where originally designed to provide optimal grip and touch on the ball, now serve to give you optimal comfort, as well as a stylish look. The innermost layer is a lightweight layer, which ensures that your foot is stable in the shoe. On top of it is a thin and perforated layer, which provides optimal air circulation. The outer layer as a thin layer of microfibre. The Nike Free Hypervenom comes with the classic and flexible Nike Free 5.0 sole, which allows your foot to move naturally in all directions. In addition, the Phylite midsole delivers good shock absorption that further increases the comfort. The classic Waffle outsole, with the classic Free flex grooves, is complemented by strategically placed carbon rubber, which adds to the durability of the sole. The Nike Free Concept originates in Stanford, where Nike looked into the training methods of the very successful athletes there and found out they trained barefoot. 3 of Nike's most esteemed and creative innovators went to work on this basis and in 2002 they began work on the first Nike Free by mapping the foots biomechanics. 8 years later the first Nike Free went on sale and the result was a shoe that "understood" your feet, how they land, where the pressure is applied.
