Arsenal home-shirt used in the 1988/89 season. A crazy Premier League season had to be decided on the last day. Liverpool and Arsenal were neck and neck in the fight for supremecy and a trip to Anfield Road would determine, who would come out on top. Liverpool were ahead by three points ahead of the game and Arsenal had to win by two goals, to bring home the trophy. Arsenal led 1-0 for most of the game, so it looked like Liverpool would end up winning the league, but a last minute goal from Michael Thomas sent North London into raptures, with The Gunners winning the league for the first time in 18 years. The shirt is an official retro shirt, which is made by the English specialists Score Draw. The shirt has the club logo, as well as sponsor printing and is made from 100% polyester.
