The polo is designed in black and grey stribes with several golden details, lige the PUMA logo and a printed signature on the neck. Printed with the number 10 - the Maradona number. 30 years after Argentinian Diego Armando Maradona's spectacular performance against England, PUMA now launches a limited edition tribute. Maradona was known as “El Pibe de Oro”, that translates to “The Golden Boy” - due to his skills and unique talent. He is considered to be one of the greatest players of all time - with two goals ensuring his place in football history. The 22nd of June 1986, at the World Cup in Mexico at the grand Estadio Azteca the quarter final between Argentina and England was played in front of 114.580 spectators. The match ended 2-1 to Argentina - with two goals scored by Maradona. In the 51th minute he scores a goal, that according to the man himself was scored with his head and a little bit of “The Hand of God”. Four minutes later, deep in Argentina's own half Maradona received the ball and started an amazing run - that would result in what has become known as the goal of the century (according to FIFA). From the starting point at his own half, facing his own goal - Maradona starts a run that covers 60 meters, includes 11 touches, dribles 6 opponents and one goal! Argentina eventually won the tournament, claiming their second World Cup victory. Maradona played every single minute of every single game, scoring a total of 5 goals and was awarded the Golden Ball - as a sign of being the best player of the tournament
