In a concurring voice, they all said that the cords where bothering them or they didn't mattered to the players. "We don't use them", was one of the feedback that Nike took with them to the design table. From this the elastic band was created and has made the inner cords unnecessary. The genius part about the band is that it adjust while you are moving, without getting to tight or to loose. It can be stretched in 4 different ways and has mesh material on the back, so you are ventilated even better and don't sweat. The Flex Strike shorts are made from the Dri-FIT material, which keeps you dry and comfortable.
