PUMA Derby Fever Pack is a great collection that puts the spotlight on some of the most famous derbies around the world. The Sergio Agüero edition is created for the Manchester derby, a fierce rivalry between the two great Manchester based clubs; Manchester City and Manchester United. Both clubs were founded back in the 1870’s, clashing for the first time ever on the 12th November 1881. Back then Manchester City were named St. Mark’s (West Gorton) and Manchester United was named Newton Heath LYR F.C. On this first clash Newton Heath grabbed the win, winning 3-0. Much time has passed since then, the clubs clashing a total 173 times - with Manchester United being the most frequent winner. The clubs will meet again on the 27th April 2017 at the Etihad Stadium. Here, Agüero will wear the evoSPEED SL-S Derby Fever Pack, while attempting to grab another win. Sergio Agüero joined Manchester City in 2011, joining from Atletico Madrid. He is considered a speedy, technically skilled and lethal striker. He’s been involved in 10 Manchester derbies so far, scoring 8 goals. So anyone can see that he’s usually on point when the derbies are played. Also, he’s only 3 goals short of breaking Wayne Rooney's Manchester derby record. Hopefully Agüero will continue to be as lethal as ever in these new Derby Fever Pack boots. The material provides superior touch, excellent comfort and greater protection. To ensure the correct amount of support for your ankle, the heel area is made from synthetic material. The needed stability is provided by the SPEEDFRAME skeleton. This adds both structure and support, that is essential at linear acceleration and when doing sharp turns. Outsole for explosive start The outsole of the PUMA evoSPEED 17 SL, is made from lightweight nylon. Also PUMA has added the SPEEDTRACK torsion bars - known there running shoes. SPEEDTRACK helps you get that perfect balance between stability at the midfoot and flexibility at the front. Furthermore the boot has been fitted with a minimalistic outer heel cap, for a perfect lockdown - that adds to the comfort and stability. Included with this boot, is two different insoles for a personal adjustment of the fit. One is made from soft EVA material, for comfort. The other is made from light Pebax foam, and is all about light. Both soles is perforated for the best breathability. Weight: 146 gram. This FG boot is made for firm ground surfaces such as natural grass.
