PUMA Derby Fever Pack is a collection of boots, that puts focus on some of the most famous rivalries around the world. The Antoine Griezmann edition is designed for the Derbi madrileno, spanish for the derby of Madrid. There is a fierce rivalry between the two local Madrid clubs, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. Both clubs were founded in the beginning of the 19th century, clashing for the first time at the 27th of February 1905, ending in a 1-1 draw. The first official match was on the 2nd of December 1906, clashing in the Campeonato Regional Centro also known as the Trofeos Mancomunados - ending in 2-1 victory to Real Madrid. It was a regional cup tournament, existing between 1902 and 1940, for Madrid based clubs only. Many matches has been played since then, with a majority of games being won by Real Madrid. In total the clubs has clashed 276 times. The clubs will clash once again on the 19th of November 2016, a game be played on Vicente Calderon Stadium, where Griezmann will be wearing this boot. He and the rest of Atletico Madrid will attempt to improve the statistics, by grabbing another win. Antoine Griezmann joined Atlético Madrid, from Real Sociedad. He is considered an agile, fast and lethal forward. He’s determined, hard working and excellent positioning skills, and has a great ability to “read” the game. He’s the perfect evoSPEED player. The material provides superior touch, excellent comfort and greater protection. To ensure the correct amount of support for your ankle, the heel area is made from synthetic material. The needed stability is provided by the SPEEDFRAME skeleton. This adds both structure and support, that is essential at linear acceleration and when doing sharp turns. Outsole for explosive start The outsole of the PUMA evoSPEED 17 SL, is made from lightweight nylon. Also PUMA has added the SPEEDTRACK torsion bars - known there running shoes. SPEEDTRACK helps you get that perfect balance between stability at the midfoot and flexibility at the front. Furthermore the boot has been fitted with a minimalistic outer heel cap, for a perfect lockdown - that adds to the comfort and stability. Included with this boot, is two different insoles for a personal adjustment of the fit. One is made from soft EVA material, for comfort. The other is made from light Pebax foam, and is all about light. Both soles is perforated for the best breathability. Weight: 146 gram. This FG boot is made for firm ground surfaces such as natural grass.
