Puma evoPOWER finally charges onto the scene and it does so full of speed, ferocity and POWER! The only full blooded power-boot out there right now and then it weighs a mere 206 grams. A boot out of the ordinary, and this is your opportunity to secure one of the just 400 pairs available worldwide! This boot is a limited edition, designed together with Chelsea’s Spanish super star. Cesc Fabregas can with his incisive passing and creative thinking unhinge any defence and blow them to smithereens. C4 is a highly volatile explosive and just happens to be a combination of the first letter in Fabregas’ first name and his shirt number. C4 is the international term for hazardous explosives, which can be seen in graphic manner on the boot. Furthermore the boot is made with the classic blue and white colours, which Cesc Fabregas dons every day. It is all about power and getting more out of a football boot than ever before, so Puma have truly played around with the usual principals and quite successfully too. The sole has been made more flexible at the front foot and the upper can now be stretched forward, so your feet react as they would, if you were not wearing boots. Try it yourself: position yourself to take a powerful instep shot, with your current boots and you will feel that the sole stop your toes. Now if you try it without boots on, you will find your foots flex greatly increased. This flex in the foot equals evoPOWER, Puma have discovered. The upper is made of the AdapLite synthetic, which is a super soft microfibre material that follows the foots shape. It is necessary to provide the stretch it takes, when the foot flexes in the very special way. It has however been engineered to only stretch one way, so you still have the required stability and support in the construction. It feels extremely soft, nice and is innovation of the highest order from Puma. The AccuFoam is little cushioning situated just below the upper that gives a larger and cleaner strike surface, which in turn gives much improved precision. The Everfitcage-EXT, which is a concept we know and love from the evoSPEED, gives the previously mentioned stability and good fit. Furthermore, the boot tongue is equipped with Memory Foam, so the lacing doesnt gnaw at your feet, even when you have laced them very tightly. The sole also supports the power-theory and the new Gradual Stability Frame gives the boot a spine-like construction beneath the midfoot, which makes for an improved flex and transfer of power.
