The Nike Tiempo Premier football boot was launched back in 1994, ahead of the the 1994 World Cup in the USA. It is a simple boot, based on “The Nike” boot from 1971 - being Nike's first ever featuring the iconic Swoosh. The focus of the Tiempo Premier, was to create a boot featuring superior comfort and a amazing touch - competing with the most popular models at the time. Nike’s launch was a success, with the Tiempo Premier being worn by no less than 10 players in the 1994 World Cup final. Since then the Premier has been launched as a independent silo three times. First launch in May 2013 were a tribute to “The Nike” boot from 1971 and the Tiempo Premier from 1994. Second launch in December 2013 celebrated the three nations Nike sponsored, that has achieved winning first spot at a World Cup: Brazil, England and France. The third launch, fusioned Premiers classic design with the legendary Tiempo colors - bringing it back to its roots. The fourth launch brough to the stage a black- and whiteout edition. Now Nike is ready with the second generation of the Premier, being the best of the classic design. By using an adaptive polymer, Nike could create a soleplate to which mud can not stock - but instead it slides off.
