The name FootballX refers to the amount of players on each team in a "Five-a-side" game and with the new MercurialX you get a revolutionising boot that builds on previous success. MercurialX Pro is made with an upper of breathable mesh. The mesh material is on the front foot coated with Nike’s Trophy Touch material, which has a golf ball like texture for increased grip on the ball. The combination of these two materials gives you an incredibly comfortable shoe, which still gives a precise and soft touch on the ball. To dominate play on small-sided pitches you need to be locked in, and the internal “cage” inside the shoe ensures you have optimal lockdown effect when you play. The front foot has been made extra flexible, so you can always perform the quick little changes of direction. In addition the low nose gives you the best prerequisites for smart and fast pieces of trickery. Furthermore there is extra padding in the heel, so you get increased support and comfort. The Phylon mid-sole gives the shoe a low profile, so you get a good, sharp touch on the ball, as well as excellent shock-absorbency.
