The season is now in full swing in the various leagues around the world, and players are bringing their best play to the pitch. If you have yet to kick off your season, it is very much about time! Nike are now launching their striking Electro Flare Pack, where a loud splash of the volt colour on the back of the boots break the main colour of the upper. A look that is bound to impress, and certainly something that will make you stand out on the pitch. The Nike Mercurial Veloce II is the model right after the Vapor X in the Mercurial silo. Although we are one step down the ladder, you will still get a top boot made from the best of materials and with a touch that is out of the ordinary. The Mercurial Veloce II is made with an upper of the highly flexible Avail synthetic. In addition, the Veloce is, as its older brother, equipped with the golf-ball like Micro Speed Control texture. The combination of the Avail synthetic and the Micro Speed Control result in a very supple upper that creates a nice friction between ball and boot. This friction helps you to get full control of the ball as your are dribbling at high speed and will also give you a very good touch on the ball due to the supple and thin synthetic upper. The sole is the same as we see on the Vapor X, and is made of a flexible, yet still stable nylon material. The stud configuration facilitates explosive acceleration in all directions, so you can beat your opponent to the ball. The Mercurial collection can be seen on the feet of stars like Zlatan Ibrahimović, Franck Ribéry and Cristiano Ronaldo. Weight: 187 grams.
