Mercurial is designed for the explosive player, that puts speed above everything else. Its for the player that out sprints the rest, runs faster than the rest and is more unpredictable - leaving the opponent crying in the dust. • Extremely limited - only 3000 pairs worldwide • Flyknit upper - weight only 193 grams • Mercurial is used by players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Alexis Sánchez, Kevin de Bruyne and Zlatan Ibrahimovic Flyknit allows your foot to merge with the boot The Mercurial Superfly is made with Nike's Flyknit, which allows for your boot to be extremely flexible and delivers unparalleled comfort, as your feet will merge with the boots. The touch is nice and tight in the Flyknit upper, where the tongue has been removed to bring you as close to the ball as possible. The entire upper is a one piece design, as the modern footballer uses the entire foot to control the ball, and not just some special zones. The flyknit upper comes with a special 3D structure that increases the friction between football boot and football, and thereby improves your touch. In addition, this friction is an advantage when dribbling at high speed, as well as for your passing and strikes. The extension of the football boot is one of the most remarkable changes and the sock-like fit helps to lock your foot in place. Hereby, you get the feeling that the football boots is an extension of your legs and your body. You are automatically more aware of your feet and the interaction with the football is heightened. A lightweight carbon sole for explosive speed A Mercurial Superfly would not be complete without a carbon fiber sole and Nike are not letting us down. The sole is made of a two-layer carbon fiber material. The carbon material makes the Superfly very flexible in certain areas of the sole, while also following the natural flex of your foot, and hereby Nike have ensured that you will have rigidity and flexibility right where you need it. The Mercurial series is also known for its bladed studs that help you accelerate. These are naturally also found on the new Superfly and the stud configuration further helps your aggressive direction changes and adds to your explosive speed in all directions.
