Since 1996 this facility has been a powerhouse, facilitating some of Nike’s most innovative and technologically advanced football boots. It's also at this facility that Nike’s sponsored athletes go for personal fitting. The facility earned its iconic status, by producing some of the most iconic Nike boots. In 1997 the Montebelluna facility presented the Nike Air GX, the first boot to be manufactured here. The Nike Air GX is now iconic, as it pushed the boundaries and signalled the start of an era where Nike football boots began to stand out from the market.To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this iconic boot, and to honour the dedicated craftsmen from Montebelluna, Nike is ready to release the Limited Edition Hypervenom GX. It perfectly blends modern tech with the original Air GX design - including the stitching and special look. The boot also features the Montebelluna crest on the heel and on the insole, the Italian flag as a woven addition on the outside of the heel and lastly, a leather symbol showing the number 20. The Hypervenom boot is designed for the attacking player, who by nature is deceptive. It is for the player who uses his extraordinary agility to change direction with explosive results - leaving the opponent in the dust. Nike has been this possible by utilizing the K-fuse technology, offering the best of both worlds. With the light and strong Flyknit polyester yarn, you get a dynamic support and incredible flexibility. While the ultra soft, nimble and thing Alegria leather provides an amazing fit and superior touch. The upper has been coated with Nike All Conditions Control (ACC), ensuring a great touch in all weather. Flywire for dynamic stability and lockdown The second key ability for the Hypervenom Phantom 3, is the ability to change direction. High speed sideway changes of direction, creates high tension and puts a lot of pressure on your ankles. It is therefore essential to have great support, a tight fit and no slipping inside the boot. Nike has fitted the boot with a Nike Grip insole, to counteract and limit the slipping. Nike has fitted the boot with 3 meters of dynamic Flywire cables, connected to the outsole and small built in channels into the Flywire upper. These cables is especially developed to handle high tension stress. The laces are connected to the Flywire cables by small loops, ensuring you get a tight personal fit. When tying your laces the Flywire cables tighten up, making the upper fit nicely on your feet. As the cables can move freely inside the channels, the support and lockdown is adaptable to your every move. You are given excellent lockdown, while having full mobility. Outsole engineered for ultimate agility Hyper-Reactive outsole combines Pebax for a flexible and agile front, with rigid nylon at the back for support. This combination allows the front to maintain grip while the heel is off the pitch, something that is a big advantage when doing sideway change of direction. The stud configuration is based on Finite Element Analysis (FEA), creating something that is perfected for sharp twists and quick turns. Some studs are for rotation, some for acceleration, some for twists and some for grip. All designed to help you on improving your agility, improving your reaction time.
