Now adidas are back with the Primeknit 2.0, which builds on the previous experience gained from the Samba Primeknit, as well as the concept boot, Primeknit FS. • A part of adidas’ ”Limited Collection” •10.000 pairs made worldwide • Innovative Primeknit upper Woven upper with new technologies The new adidas Primeknit 2.0 is developed to give you the best fit in the world of football. The boot is built up around the adidas Primeknit material, which is a material woven together of Lycra yarn. The Lycra thread ensures that the upper is extremely flexible, so it can always move with your foot and give a tight fit. The Primeknit foundation is coated with an extremely thin layer of silicon, which creates a vacuum, so the boot can be used in all weather conditions. The thin coating protects the woven material and helps give the boot a soft surface, as well as increased grip on the ball. Furthermore the nose of the boot is made with a 3D texture, to give ultimate ball control and increased durability. The boot with ”the world’s best fit” Primeknit 2.0 is made with a compression fit technology to give the best and tightest fit. It has a specially constructed ”compression tongue”, which is made from Lycra yarn, as well as having extra padding that helps make sure the boot wraps itself around your midfoot, to give maximal lockdown. Furthermore the heel is made with a new anatomical design, which follows the foots natural contours, so you still get optimal support. Outsole designed for speed and acceleration The outsole and stud-configuration on the Primeknit 2.0 is the same as the one we see on the adidas F50 adizero. This is inspired by the world of athletics, where adidas have looked at sprinters spiked shoes, in an effort to give the F50 boot even more grip. . The outsole is therefore equipped with brand new grip pattern, which gives increased pitch grip, when you accelerate. The small jagged pattern under the front foot makes sure that you have grip the second you plant your foot, after which the sole follows your foots natural movement, so you get the most power in your kick-off. There are just three studs under the heel. This first and foremost saves weight, but also makes sure that you can penetrate the ground quicker. Furthermore there is a torsion bar under the mid foot, which gives a better distribution of pressure. The stud-configuration is split into two levels. The first is built up around 6 main studs, which gives you the initial grip. The second level is a range of small barbs under the sole, which increase the grip and make sure you reach your top speed quicker. Weight: 225 grams.
