The boot is designed for #TheEngine, who is the player on the team, who can run for days on end for his team. #TheEngine leads the pack and drives his team on with tireless performances and an energy-filled attitude. adidas have therefore equipped the Nitrocharge 1.0 with technologies that help the teams engine get that boost of energy, or in any case fully exploit the natural energy in the best possible way. Instead of an upper made from Hybridtouch, the boot is made with an upper of premium kangaroo leather and this is from heel to toe. The kangaroo leather ensures an upper that sits nicely and naturally to your foot, so you get a close fit. The leather upper also makes sure you get a natural and clean touch on the ball. To give extra comfort and a more natural touch on the ball, the Energysling has been removed from the boot. That the Energysling has been removed, also means you get the full experience of a full, premium leather boot. Despite the removal of Energysling you still get maximal lockdown effect. The unique deco-stitches ensure the foot is locked in place, even when you change direction quickly. From the mid-foot and back towards the heel the kangaroo leather has been constructed with special embroidery, which gives optimal support around the heel. Furthermore the embroidery helps give the best comfort and fit. The Nitrocharge 1.0 is made on a Sprintframe-outsole, with the incorporated Energypulse-technology, which is an elastic material that gives a more springy kick off from the ground, when accelerating. This is a boot with FG-studs and is therefore made for firm ground pitches, like grass.
