Here comes the second version of Lionel Messi’s very own boot silo - Messi 10.1. The boot has been given the name Pibe De Barr10, and once again the Messi signature boot pays tribute to his humble beginnings. "Pibe De Barrio" means the kid from the hood and refers to Messi’s modest background and upbringing. The boots design is furthermore inspired by Lionel Messi’s childhood neighbourhood 'Las Heras', where graffiti painted walls dominate the street picture. - Lionel Messi’s new signature boot - Soft Hybridtouch upper - New and aggressive stud-configuration A soft and natural touch on the ball The upper on the Messi 10.2 is made from adidas’ leather emulating Hybridtouch material. The well-known and popular material combines all the best attributes from synthetic and leather to give you a tight and natural touch on the ball. The Hybridtouch material on the Messi 10.2 has been made slightly thicker. In addition the heel is padded with a synthetic that replicates suede. This greatly increases the comfort in that area and at the same time ensures you are further protected from knocks and injuries. New stud-configuration with two levels. The outsole is furthermore made light and it therefore allows you to accelerate and reach your top speed quicker. The boot is made with adidas’ Traxion 2.0 stud-configuration, which gives you maximal acceleration and a perfect grip on artificial grass. This is an AG-boot especially made for artificial grass pitches.
