The design is inspired by the Janissary corps from the Ottoman Empire, which was an exemplary, yet extremely feared soldier corps. The boot is made from a single piece of adidas’ leather-emulating synthetic Hybridtouch, which is a soft and supple material that combines the very best attributes from leather and synthetic in one upper. This means you get a flexible upper, with a low intake of water and an upper that doesn’t overstretch in the same way as leather would. To give maximal comfort the inside of the boot is covered with a soft suede material. Not only does this suede give a comfortable fit, it also makes sure the upper is kept soft and supple. The boots moulded EVA inlay-sole is equipped with Semi Micro-suede, which is incredibly comfortable for the foot and further adds to the immense fit adidas have naturally fitted the 11Pro with their ’Comfort Frame’ sole, which is made with smaller studs, as to make sure the studs can easily penetrate the ground. Furthermore the sole is equipped with an extra lateral stud, which increases stability and provides optimal distribution of pressure.
