Puma King - A legend, that has been given a superlight (SL) brother in the collection, that takes the breath away of many of it's competitors. With a weight of just 171 grams, there can be no doubt, that this is already a success for Puma and in extension the King collection. The upper is made from the light weight Japanese microfibre, that gives you a leathery touch, because the quality is top notch. The stitching on the front foot and the general stitching also makes it feel like a leather boot. Good innovation from Puma. It has an external heel cap, that not only ensures stability in the heel, but also protects you in a vulnerable area. The sole is Pebax and has four studs on the back, as well as six at the front, that are all square, so you get an excellent grip in the pitch. Furthermore it also has a single stud in the middle of the boot, that means you can accelerate to a greater degree. With a weight of just 171 grams and the heritage of the King collection as its pedigree, this is definitely a boot, that's worth a second look. It's a bit outside the norm. Weight: 171 grams.
