11Pro SL is German Engineering at its finest and this boot is the ultimate combination of low weight, comfort and ball control. SL stands for super light and that is exactly what this boot is. The boot weighs just 185 grams and adidas have therefore managed to shave a massive 90 grams off the classic 11Pro boot Instead of an upper made from K-leather, the 11Pro SL’s upper is made from a unique synthetic construction and to shave as much weight off as possible, the upper is made as thin as possible. The upper is however still extremely soft and supple and will wrap itself around your foot to create a tight fit To ensure maximal stability the 11Pro SL is equipped with a technically constructed skeleton. The skeleton was first introduced on the new generation of the classic 11Pro and adidas have thus implemented it on the 11Pro SL to increase support and stability, to give you the ultimate lockdown effect. Even though the leather upper has been replaced, there is still plenty of comfort in the 11Pro SL. The boot is covered in a soft suede, which gives good comfort, when you wear the boot. Furthermore the tongue is covered in memory foam, so the boot keeps its shape and fit, once you have broken in the boots. Unlike the classic 11Pro the adidas 11Pro SL is equipped with the Sprintframe 2.0, as well as the Speedtraxion stud-configuration, which we see on the adidas F50 Adizero. The sole is in several areas no more than 1mm thick and made from TPU, which ensures a strong construction despite the low weight. The furthermore the stud-configuration is made to give you the best grip on the pitch, when accelerating and dribbling at full throttle. 11Pro SL is German engineering of the very highest order and if you are looking for a boot with low weight and high comfort, then the 11Pro SL boot is just your thing.
