Last week was a blast in Oslo as we celebrated the opening of our first Unisport flagship store in Norway, right in the heart of Karl Johans Gate at Paleet.
It's like a football paradise, spreading across 650 square meters, and we wanted everyone to join in the excitement!
We kicked off the grand opening with a bang, as some of Norway's most celebrated football icons graced our event, coinciding with the unveiling of the national team's fresh kit. It was a star-studded affair that left young Unisport members buzzing with excitement. They had the incredible opportunity to meet Martin Ødegaard, captain of both Arsenal and the national team, who warmly engaged with fans, sharing his thoughts on the new national shirt.
Moments later, the excitement intensified as Haaland, Leo Østigård, Alexander Sørloth, Oscar Bobb, and Antonio Nusa joined Ødegaard on stage at our exclusive member event. For the young footballers present, it was a dream come true as they snapped photos and collected autographs from their football idols, making memories to last a lifetime.
Outside the store, we had a cool Adidas setup. At Egertorget, right in downtown Oslo, it was buzzing with excitement as people lined up to show off their shooting skills. Sporting the newest adidas boots, they were all gunning to be crowned the day's best scorer. And the reward? A pair of super-exclusive Energy Citrus boots!
Meanwhile, at Youngstorget, things were really buzzing! The awesome PUMA van was parked here and members were lining up to try out the latest PUMA boots. While the action heated up on the field, there were plenty of cool things happening all around! Members were showcasing their skills in the Panna & Dribble Cage, which was set up inside the PUMA area. And guess who else showed up? PWG and his crew! They wowed the crowd with their mind-blowing freestyle tricks and moves that left everyone in awe. It was a spectacle you definitely didn't want to miss!
Inside the store, Unisport FC members were in for a treat! They had exclusive access to some awesome perks, including a shot at winning fantastic prizes from our fun Claw Machine. Packed with goodies like a yearly supply of PUMA boots, Unisport gift cards, Nike drinking bottles, and New Balance footballs, there was something for everyone. Each member got one try to grab their prize!
Upstairs, the excitement continued with our Subsoccer cage, where friends could challenge each other to intense matches. It quickly became a crowd favorite, sparking friendly rivalries among friends and even strangers. It was all about the thrill of the game and the joy of competing with fellow football enthusiasts!
No Unisport event would be complete without some fantastic photo opportunities, and our PUMA Photo Booth captured countless memories throughout the week.
And on Friday, the excitement reached its peak with the exclusive PUMA x Unisport FC Member Night. Members were treated to a meet-and-greet with PUMA player Thea Kyvåg, who graciously signed autographs and posed for photos, while PWG and his crew delivered a sensational freestyle show. The first 100 members received a special PUMA x Unisport goodie bag filled with football equipment.
But that's not all! Ever wanted to rock a hairstyle like Haaland, Grealish, Greenwood, Foden, or Park? Well, at our PUMA x Unisport FC Member Night, dreams turned into reality! Our in-store hairdresser was on hand to style our young members, giving them the chance to emulate the iconic looks of these Manchester City stars.
To keep energy levels high, we indulged our guests with football-themed treats, including specially crafted PUMA and football donuts, ensuring that no one went hungry during the action-packed week.
As the curtains closed on our opening week, we couldn't help but reflect on the incredible journey. Unisport has firmly established itself in Oslo, and we're just getting started.
